The Johannesburg Roads Agency (JRA) has finalized the reconstruction of a pedestrian road and culvert bridge in Finetown’s extension 6 and 7 (Region G) after demolishing the old makeshift crossing that collapsed following heavy rainfall in December 2023. The project was prioritized as the two communities have been struggling to safely cross a stream which connects Wards 6 and 7, especially during rainy season when the stream becomes a raging river.
